Man Hits Police Car and is Charged with DUI

Posted recently on Myrtlebeach.com - A Michigan area man crashed into a North Myrtle Beach police patrol vehicle. After the crash, police pulled the man over and charged him with
DUI (driving under the influence).
According to police, 40 year old James D. Wilson pulled in front of the police officer's patrol car in a silver Toyota van that had North Carolina tags. He collided into the front passenger bumper, which lead to numerous scrapes, breaks, and scratches on the patrol car. The crash occurred at 4:11 AM, Saturday morning.
Shortly after the collision, State Highway Patrol officials were called to the scene to examine the accident and circumstances. James Wilson was placed under arrest and then escorted to a local police department. Mr. Wilson will most likely be charged with a
DUI accident offense along with DUI.
