Assistant State Attorney General Sentenced for DUI

An assistant South Dakota attorney general has reportedly been sentenced in connection with a DUI matter. According to reports, the man was originally arrested for DUI and having an open container of alcohol in his vehicle. He did end up pleading guilty to DUI while prosecutors dropped the open container charge. He has been given a five-day suspended jail sentence and was fined $350.
