Drunk Woman Causes Accident in Her Own Driveway

Surveys show that most accidents happen close to home. In the case of one South Carolina woman, she caused an accident in her own driveway.

The woman was backing out of the driveway when a man on a motorcycle struck the back of her van. He had no time to swerve out of the way and was thrown off the bike into the roadway. The man was lucky to survive the accident despite not wearing a helmet at the time.

He along with four passengers in the van was brought to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The woman was charged with child endangerment, child restraint violation, alcohol violation, driving under suspension and felony DUI. She could face further charges upon completion of the DUI accident investigation.
