Anti-Drunk Driving Launched Over Holidays

An anti-drunk driving campaign is under way in Santa Clara County. Since the campaign started on December 16, 160 people have been arrested for DUI.
Each year police officers across the county conduct increased patrols and DUI checkpoints during the holidays. Knowing that people tend to drink and drive more frequently during this period, police want to not only capture the offenders but protect the roadways from intoxicated drivers. Any driver that is believed to be under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol will be pulled over and subjected to field sobriety tests.
Have you recently been arrested for driving under the influence? Are you worried about the criminal punishments you could face? If so, now is the time to discuss your charges and options with a DUI lawyer near you who is committed to helping you fight your case so you can avoid conviction and serious legal penalties, like jail time.
