18 Year Old Drunk Driver caused Bus Accident

In Fresno, California, officers from the California Highway Patrol are saying that an 18 year old driver that was operating a SUV caused a bus crash that killed her and five others.  The CHP asserts that toxicology reports indicated that the 18 year old was under the influence at the time of the accident.

Last week, the bus accident was reported along with the deaths of Sylvia Lopez Garay and her two female passengers that were in her Chevrolet trailblazer.  An elderly man and woman who were on the bus at the time of the collision also died.

According to reports, the Greyhound bus had crashed into Garay's SUV just as she and her passengers were getting out of the vehicle, which had rolled over on Highway 99 near Fresno.  A witness told the CHP that the SUV was on its side when it was hit by the Greyhound.
