Cainan Scheirholtz Faces Multiple Charges for DUI Accident

This week, San Francisco Giants' outfielder Nate Scheirholtz's 23 year old brother was arrested by police.  Officers say that Cainan Scheirholtz left a mile long trail of carnage while driving under the influence in his red pickup truck.

According to reports, Scheirholtz hit a bicyclist, pedestrian, two other motor vehicles and then finally came to halt against a pole this Sunday in Danville.  When he tried to drive away from the scene of the accident, he was physically stopped by two pedestrians.  Police say that Scheirholtz never checked on the people he hit and was found a mile away from the injured biker.

Scheirholtz was charged with four counts of DUI causing bodily injury, three counts of hit and run causing injury, two counts of hit and run causing property damage and driving without a license.  He is being held in jail in lieu of $350,000 bail.

If you were arrested for causing a DUI accident, it is important that you hire a DUI attorney immediately.
