In Concord, California, two drivers were placed under arrest for
drunk driving. The arrests occurred this past Tuesday. Law enforcement arrested the offenders after they allegedly crashed into one another at approximately 9:35 PM.
Thankfully, no one sustained serious injuries during the DUI accident. Police report that the accident occurred on Concord Avenue, a major County street.
After the incident, police began a preliminary investigation, which revealed that the driver of the white Hyundai sedan must have ran a red light in order to have crashed into the driver of the red Ford Mustang. The driver of the sedan was 22 year old Fabiola Gallo and the driver of the Mustang was 29 year old Christina Danner. Immediately after the accident, both women were taken to a local hospital and treated for minor injuries.
After receiving medical treatment, the women were arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI). Danner faced additional charges as she had a young child as a passenger in her car at the time of the accident. Thankfully, the minor was left without any injuries, and placed in protective custody by the Contra Costa Child and Family Services department.
