Offender to Serve Jail Time for Killing Girl While DUI

After killing a little girl in a drunk driving accident several years ago, a man has been arrested once again for causing a serious accident. As a repeat offender, the 33-year-old man is likely to receive a lengthy sentence for his crimes.

According to the police department, the suspect reportedly struck another vehicle but kept on driving. He was forced to pull into a parking lot due to damage on his vehicle. It was there that police found him and detained him. After failing all of the field sobriety tests that were administered to him, police arrested the man for leaving the scene of an accident, driving on a revoked license, driving in the wrong lane and drunken driving.

Those close to the man thought that he would have learned his lesson after killing a 10-year-old girl over eight years ago. At that time he was arrested for DUI of drugs and alcohol as well as vehicular manslaughter.
