A local team owner was arrested last week on suspicion of driving under the influence. Since his arrest, he has pledged to provide support to victims of drunk driving advocate groups. Pirates' owner Frank Connelly, 51, was taken into custody last week when police found him to be driving under the influence. He was charged with four counts of drunk driving-related charges. Luckily, this is the first time that Connelly has been charged with careless driving, driving the wrong way, drunk driving and driving with a blood-alcohol level of at least .16. Nobody was injured in the drunk driving accident. Connelly has since apologized for his actions and has promised to never drive drunk again.
