Man Faces Subsequent DUI Charges

A man with two DUIs already on his record is about to add a third one in Washington state.

According to police reports, the 30-year-old man was heading south on a busy boulevard when his erratic driving caught the attention of an officer. He was pulled over and the officer almost immediately realized that the man was intoxicated. A quick review of his driving record confirmed his suspicion, as the man was a multiple DUI offender.

He is now being held at a local jail on a bail of $20,000. His car was also taken and impounded for a period of one month. Since he is a multiple DUI offender, the judge is not likely to review his case likely.

It does not help that the man has been on a list of multiple offenders that police keep as part of the DUI Habitual Offender Stakeout Program. This initiative is funded by the California Office of Traffic Safety.
