Young Female Loses Life during DUI Accident

A young female passenger lost her life this week when the driver of the vehicle she was riding in took to the wheel drunk.

The accident, which occurred on the northbound 11th Avenue on ramp to northbound I-5, was a single-car accident that left a 20-year-old female dead and the driver injured. He was later charged on suspicion of DUI. Police officials reported that the woman was trapped in the upturned vehicle but later died on the scene. There was also a second passenger that was brought to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

At this time police are not releasing the identity of the driver, who has solely been identified as a male in this twenties.
