Former Turnpike Authority Head Admits to Drunken Driving

The former head of the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority has admitted to being drunk when he was driving and crashed his SUV into two parked vehicles. Matt Amorello has been ordered to give up his driver's license for 45 days as a result, along with paying more than $500 in fines. In this matter, Amorello was not pleading guilty, but acknowledging that there was enough evidence to convict him if the case went to trial.
