County Experiences Decline in DUI Arrests

The reports from Thanksgiving weekend are back and one county in California showed a slight increase in DUI arrests.   When compared to last year, Solano County officers arrested three more individuals on suspicion of driving under the influence.

The state of California overall saw a decrease in DUI arrests, 71 less than the preceding year. A total of 19 people lost their lives in alcohol-related crashes across the state. This figure was higher than last year when 8 people were killed during the holiday weekend. One officer commented about the fatalities and said that of the 19 killed, 17 were not wearing their seatbelts.
