Man Sentenced to Four Years for DUI

A Des Plaines, Illinois man has been sentenced to four years in prison as a result of his DUI accident. In the accident, he struck a Rosemont police officer with his car while he was drunk. John Salemi did plead guilty to aggravated DUI for his accident involving the officer who was directing traffic. According to reports, Salemi had a blood alcohol level of .207 percent. The charges of driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance were dropped in his plea.
