Teenager Arrested for DUI and Assault with a Deadly Weapon

In Santa Rosa, a teenager was arrested by police for DUI and assault with a deadly weapon. The arrest occurred after a road rage incident on Highway 101 this past Sunday.
The California Highway Patrol says that a 25 year old woman called at 4AM to report a vehicle was following her on northbound U.S. Highway 101 in Petaluma. The woman said that the driver of the other vehicle tailgated her, sped past her and then slammed on the brakes. She felt the driver was trying to run her off the road.
After broadcasting the provided description to law enforcement agencies nearby, the driver was pulled over near the Penngrove exit. Shortly after, the CHP arrest 18 year old Carlos Gomex for suspicion of DUI, assault with a deadly weapon, driving without a license and driving without insurance.
