Vehicle Torn in Half during DUI Accident

A two-car crash that left one vehicle torn in half is suspected to have been caused by a drunken driver in California Thursday morning. The accident occurred at 12:35 in an eastbound lane of the 210 Freeway at Lake Avenue.

The driver of a Honda crashed into the center divider for "unknown reasons", as cited by the California Highway Patrol. The driver got out of the car and was then hit by a BMW M3. David Peng, 24, was booked for driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, as well as suspicion of vehicular manslaughter.

At this time the California Highway Patrol is stating that "it is believed alcohol intoxication is a factor in this collision." The Honda was completely torn in two by the force of the collision.

If you have been charged with causing a DUI accident, it is important that you hire a DUI attorney as soon as possible.
