Elderly Driver Found DUI

An older woman is lucky to still be alive after nearly colliding with another vehicle while driving the wrong way on a major highway.

According to the police in Nevada, the 63-year-old woman almost drove head-on into another vehicle, but swerved away just in time to avoid hitting it. Several other cars were forced to pull off to the roadway when they saw her driving the wrong way towards them. Luckily, nobody was injured as a result of her reckless driving. When officers arrived on the scene, they quickly determined that she was under the influence of alcohol. She was arrested on suspicion of DUI and transported to a local jail. She was released later that night on $1,404 bail.
